For all my fellow high school band geeks out there. (at least the ones who play trumpet...yay! I play trumpet!!)
Or, if you don't play trumpet, you can look in my gallery to see if I've made a stamp of the instrument you do play. If I haven't, then feel free to rant at me. Or just ask me to make one.
w00t w00t! I play trumpet too. I was the biggest band geek in high school. I remember each section had there own personality. The flutes were always the perfect ones, always getting praise from the teacher. Oboe was quiet and kept to them selves. The clarinets were all bunch of smart asses and loved sex. And as for the trumpets (brass section) we had the sense of humor. Wed always get in shit for talking and laughing in class and during band practise. We were all friends thought. Good times!

Perfection Lies Within What Some Care To See As Imperfection
Well in my band (at least in the last couple of years) the flutes and trombones always go too fast/slow, the saxes can't get the notes right, the tubas can't get the notes much at all, percussion can't figure out what they're doing, clarinets sqeak, and the trumpets need to support each other better (I'm normally the only trumpet trying to support the others)
Yet we managed to get an award-thingy for 'best in our grade level' last year, and we normally do pretty good at festivals anyway...except when we went to nationals 3 years ago. We sucked. (Gypsy Dance = death ) lol

Trumpets FTW!!!! I am my high schools ultimate band geek. I never miss a practice or event, and I always take charge. This past year we had a solo/ensemble contest. I did 7 different events.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
